WHAT TO DO IN MARRAKECH DURING RAMADAN ?
As you know, the month of Ramadan is a very special time in Morocco, and it can sometimes worry travellers. Established in Morocco since 2006, we have learned to adapt to local traditions as well as to the expectations of our customers. We therefore offer many day activities during the holy month, even including lunch*:
1/ A day in quad or buggy in the desert Jbilets
Want a little adventure? This great day is for you! Drive your quad or buggy through the best tracks around Marrakech! Go through this rocky desert located a little north of the red city, slalom between sharp rocks, rivers and lush palm groves!!
2/ A combo camel + quad or buggy
You don’t want to choose between a camel ride and a quad / buggy ride in the desert of Jbilets? This day is perfect for you! Start the day with a camel ride in the desert, followed by a quad or buggy ride after the lunch break (or vice versa, you can choose to ride the quad / buggy in the morning and the ride back camel in the afternoon). 2 activities the same day, what more?
3/ Pure Atlas, meet the Berber people
Go to meet the Berber people with this mountain walk totally off the tourist trail! Discover the beautiful landscapes of the High Atlas with this day trip accessible to all levels (even children). At noon, Saida will open the doors of her house and prepare you a tasty traditional lunch.
4/ Visit Ouzoud waterfalls
Discover the most beautiful waterfalls in Morocco: Ouzoud waterfalls, located in a typical Berber village. You will admire this beautiful waterfall of 100m of height, swim at its feet and even maybe see wild monkeys!! This day is perfect for the whole family ☺. This place is part of the Top 5 – Most Beautifuls Treks of Morocco.
5/ A day in the “Real Morocco” (private)
Discover the amazing landscapes of the High Atlas with this day trip in private! This hike will take you to the completely forgotten corners of the Atlas Mountains, you will cross typical Berber villages and will enjoy an exceptional lunch served in an unexpected place!
6/ Hiking in the Ait Oucheg Valley
A day of hiking for all levels in the valley of Ait Oucheg, the little sister of the Ourika valley, much less touristic ☺ You will discover breath-taking mountain landscapes, beautiful terraced crops, small traditional villages nestled in the mountains and locals with a heart of gold!
